Hi, I am April Ludwig – A New Jersey Photographer 

I am a Professional Photographer based in Bound Brook, NJ (right outside of Bridgewater, NJ) who serves all of Somerset County NJ. Whether you have just found out you’re having a child (or adopting, or fostering!), or if your children are fully grown – they won’t remain this age forever. So you need a photographer you can trust to capture this season of your life so that you can hold onto these moments forever.

As the mother of two boys, I understand how important it is to create the images that your family will cherish for years to come, but also BE IN THE PHOTOS TOO!

Don’t let your photos waste away electronically…

Sure, digital files are great, and you’ll definitely have them from our session – but they aren’t archival. You’re not likely to go thumbing through social media with your children looking at family photos. Preserving your images in an album will ensure they are looked at time and time again.

However, I know how much time and effort it takes to create an album. The good news is, you don’t have to! Your session includes an album + all of the digital files from your session. And the BEST news?? I custom design every album for my clients so all you need to to is pick your favorite images and your cover. That’s it!!

An album is the perfect way to make sure your family gets to enjoy the images from their session now and decades from now. Printed on archival materials, your great, great grandkids will be able to look back on these photos. How wonderful is that?!

Book Your Session

Once your portrait agreement is signed & retainer is paid, I work with you to plan your session:

  • A studio session or use of my premiere locations
  • Access to a styling service (hair & make-up optional)
  •  Preparation Guide
  •  And more –  I am with you every step of the way!

Have an Amazing Session!

Then, within 3 weeks you will receive a professionally edited viewing gallery of the images from our time together. You will select your included digital images and use your included print credit. 

 I know albums can be a pain to design, so let me do all that work for you! Need a gift for grandma or want new portraits for the walls of your home? I’ve got you covered there too!!

I highly recommend April for your photoshoot! I worked with her on a maternity shoot and a newborn shoot once my daughter was born and had such a great experience! She helped me feel very natural and comfortable even though I’m not accustomed to posing for photos and she did SUCH an amazing job with my baby. She managed to keep her calm all while posing her. She even managed to do an outfit change without waking up my baby, so it was a very stress free situation. The photos all came out so great, I’m so very happy with them and will definitely be reaching out to her for more family photos down the road!

We worked with April for a family tree farm
shoot, after she previously shot our one-year old’s birthday photos. She is true professional and included extra elements to make it special for our young children. Furthermore, the pictures came out wonderful. I highly recommend April as a photographer in the Bridgewater, NJ area!
