How far in advance should I book my session?
The short answer: as early as possible! My calendar fills up quickly, especially for newborn and maternity sessions.
For newborn sessions, timing is everything. Newborns are typically most sleepy and poseable in the first 7–21 days of life, so I recommend booking during your second trimester to secure a spot around your due date. I’ll adjust the final timing once baby arrives.
For maternity sessions, the sweet spot is typically between 28–34 weeks of pregnancy — when your bump is beautifully round but you’re still comfortable moving around.
For family and children’s sessions, I’d suggest booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance, especially around popular times like fall foliage season or before the holidays.
What Can I Expect from the Portrait Session Experience?

I specialize in making people feel natural, comfortable, and genuinely themselves. Whether you’re a total photo pro or someone who usually ducks out of every family photo, I’ve got you covered.
Do you have a studio or do you shoot on location?
Both! My full-service portrait studio in Bound Brook, NJ is a beautiful, climate-controlled space that’s perfect for newborns, maternity sessions, and any time you want a clean, timeless backdrop. But I also love getting outside and shooting on location — parks, fields, farms, beaches, or wherever feels most meaningful to your family.

Do you offer prints, albums, and other artwork?
Yes! After your session, you’ll receive access to a beautifully organized online gallery — and tied directly to that gallery is a store where you can order professional, archival-quality prints, albums, wall art, and other keepsakes. Everything is printed on premium materials built to last for generations.
I’m a big believer that photos belong on your walls and in your hands — not just sitting in a folder on your phone. There’s nothing like holding a beautifully printed album or walking past a canvas of your family in your hallway every single day.
How long until I receive my photos?
Within 3 weeks of your session, you’ll receive a professionally edited viewing gallery. From there, you’ll select your included digital images and apply your print credit toward any prints, albums, or artwork you’d like to order. I put a lot of care into the editing process — every image is thoughtfully retouched before it ever reaches your gallery.
Do you photograph headshots?
Yes — and I take really great ones! In addition to family and lifestyle portrait sessions, I offer professional headshots for individuals and businesses throughout the Somerset County area.
